This size can be used as a nursery blanket, a crib throw blanket, a security blanket, or even as a stroller blanket. The 40" by 60" size is perfect for toddlers & kids. As your child gets older, it can be used as a daycare/ preschool nap blanket, a cuddle blanket, or a car ride blanket. The 50x60 is a larger blanket that could be used as a indoor playmat or a family snuggle blanket. Making this a gift? Once the fabric is washed, they usually are less visible. To keep the fabric soft over time, it is very important to avoid fabric softeners when washing this blanket. Frequently Asked Questions: Which material is most popular? Minky and Sherpa are our most popular for a standard baby blanket because of the softness and thickness. Sherpa is the thickest and has a soft and cozy back perfect for fall and winter months. The Minky is lightweight and super soft on both sides. Folks tend to choose this one in the warmer months of the year.Jersey is our most popular for baby swaddles because they're stretchy and are not thick. Are these personalized? Yes, the babies name will be changed to the one that is left in a note for me during checkout. If you would not like a name to be added you can leave the note blank or simply leave "No Name." Do you do custom designs? Absolutely! I love to make custom designs. Please contact me before ordering to make sure that I am able to produce the design you would like. Can the blanket be made in a different color? Sometimes, The text and parts of some designs can be made with a different color. Absolutely!! Just include a note for me during checkout. What is Minky? Minky is a special type of plush fabric that is often used to make baby blankets, baby clothing and baby accessories. Minky fabric is like fleece – but softer and thicker. What is Jersey? It is a 100% lightweight polyester material that stretches. Perfect for swaddling. Features rounded corners. What is Fleece? Fleece blankets are made of 100% Polyester. It is a thinner blanket but provide a very vibrant print. What is Sherpa? Sherpa is an Ultra Plush blanket. It is a 100% polyester with a faux fur fabric on the back. The faux fur side is available in white. Tan back is available by request only. Will I receive a proof? We do not supply a proof of your personalized design as standard to ensure we do not delay your order, however if you would like to see the design before we create it please request this along with your personalization when you place your order. If requested we will not proceed with your order until you are 100% happy with the design. Please ensure you factor in extra time for this, as edits may delay your order.
